Berryman is a busy boy, always in need of entertaining. Running marathons, restoring First World War aircraft — namely a Tigermoth and Spitfire — he is also learning to fly.

I’m friends with Guy [Berryman] from Coldplay. We met when both our bands were on the road. Chris Martin had been waxing lyrical about A-ha in the music press and there’s a lot of respect between our bands. I played Guy the demos of my solo album and he became involved and brought Will [Champion, the drummer] with him. They have something special with what they do in Coldplay and you recognise it when they get going.
