The original mix of Time Police on Square Peg In A Round Hole annoyed me a bit because of its wilful, holistic sterility. Instead of this meticulousness, I intuitively wanted layers and layers of raggedly, brutal shoegaze guitar.
This version hasn’t been considered enough to be any good, not really, but it’s a gut reaction of what I’d like this tune to sound like instead, done in 20 minutes this evening. I may revisit this and do it properly soon.
